Job Summary — The Security Solutions Sales Specialist will focus on new and existing customer relationships, work closely with clients to determine their needs, answer questions about our products and services, and recommend the right solutions.
The Security Solution Sales Specialist is responsible and accountable for:
- Generate and process new sales leads as required.
- Review project documents, plans, and specifications to assist and/or create cost estimates for projects and communicate those estimates to clients.
- Perform needs analysis meetings and job site walks with customers and the sales team.
- Develop engineered solutions that map customer business requirements to security technology solutions.
- Other tasks as assigned
Essential Functions
- Able to successfully estimate and close sales.
- Go to person for all access control knowledge.
- Close contact with the service team who is installing the product.
- Great customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other sales systems as needed.
Experience & Other Requirements
- Industry experience preferred (2 years access control experience)
- Pre-employment background
- Sales and estimating experience of at least 2 years
- Clear communication, active listening skills
- Clean driving record
