What You Will Do
As a Security Operations Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of
ensuring the safety and security of our global operations. Your
responsibilities will range from monitoring physical security systems to
coordinating emergency response efforts. You'll play a crucial role in
maintaining a secure environment for our personnel and assets, utilizing
your skills in problem-solving, communication, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and manage physical security, personnel, and assets
globally.
- Utilize various tools including access control and alarm monitoring
systems.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate necessary actions.
- Conduct facility patrols and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment and facilities.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and write incident reports.
- Assist in IT triage and routing during non-US business hours.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and teams.
- Monitor news and weather for potential hazards.
- Analyze threat intelligence and communicate findings to management.
- Utilize communication systems for coordination during emergencies.
What You Will Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of security operations experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong critical thinking skills for risk assessment.
- Proactive and self-directed.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to create a supportive environment for staff concerns.
- Ability to work flex schedule, all three shifts.
