Security Specialist Investigator - BMW Of North America

As the Security Specialist Investigator, you will conduct independent business practices, to include risk assessments and investigations, which directly support the protection of people, property, and information at BMW of North America non-production facilities in the U.S. and Canada. You will steer the implementation of core strategies and policies to meet the investigative needs of the company, and serve as a key resource to security, fire/life safety and site business management. You will perform risk management assessments and ensure compliance with not only company policy, but with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding emergency and security measures. You will propose, develop and implement countermeasures for non-compliance topics and situations and provide recommendations for solution and improvement. You will serve as a liaison with key stakeholders, partners, and public safety agencies, in support of investigations and incident responses at non-production facilities in the U.S. and Canada.

The pay range for this role is: $105,213.00 - $123,780.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 10 years of related professional experience with a federal, state, county or local law enforcement agency and/or corporate security entity.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience representing a law enforcement agency and/or corporate security entity in an official liaison capacity with external agencies and organizations.
• Experience in working with open-source data, databases, and analysis tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferences:

• Graduate degree.
• Professional Security Certification(s).
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a law enforcement agency and/or corporate security entity managing subordinates and/or external vendors.
