Summary You will serve as a Security Specialist in the NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND. Responsibilities You will assist with establishing policy, directives, plans and procedures for management of comprehensive Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) Security Program. You will assist with training personnel on security responsibilities. You will track mandatory training compliance and provide data reports. You will assist with coordinating foreign national visits. You will assist with evaluating physical security provisions, security plans and security proceedings. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing personnel security, physical security, industrial security or assisting with security awareness, education/training. Examples of specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1) Assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure security requirement compliance; 2) Aiding with conducting surveys, studies or security inspections to minimize vulnerabilities; 3) Participating and providing security recommendations on identified deficiencies; 4) Participating in providing technical advice and guidance regarding security plans, processes or procedures; 5) Following security standards, guidelines or policies for security programs.
