Axient is currently looking to hire a Security Specialist to join our team supporting Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) in Yuma, AZ.

What you will do...:

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Responsible for all classified shipping and receiving tasks for the customer, to include maintaining records of past shipments, proper marking, packaging, and transportation.
• Manage the on-site security operations to ensure all classified material and equipment is protected in accordance with local policies and Army Regulations. Develop and strategize plans for classified accountability.
• Manage on-site access control personnel, providing guidance in the field for testing events. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive and classified information to avoid unauthorized disclosure.
• Classified Document Control
• Will be responsible for managing GSA vehicles for test range operations. 

Skills you will need...:

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation.  Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
• Requires bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 3 years of experience or 6-10 years experience with no degree
• Ability to work on their own without direct and daily supervision and/or management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Excellent planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
