Do you have networking and programming experience with the desire to work in the commercial security, video surveillance, access control and other commercial/ industrial low voltage systems field? If so, this may be the perfect role for you.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install cabling and pathways for indoor and outdoor rated wiring and cabling systems
• Install, terminate, and test security system wiring and data cabling
• Mount security panels, hardware and devices to surfaces and rack spaces in a clean and professional manner
• Checking equipment inventory

Education and Experience:

• Panel programming to meet system requirements
• High school diploma required.
• Technical school training
• 2 + years of related industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
• Must be willing to work at heights
• Must be able to operate electrical tools
• Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at time
