Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Security Systems Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and managing security systems for both residential and commercial properties. This includes security cameras, alarms, and other safety devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and contractors to ensure satisfaction with the completed work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot home and commercial security systems, including cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment.

- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.

- Interact professionally with customers and contractors, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the security solutions provided.

- Conduct system testing and inspections to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.

- Provide ongoing maintenance and upgrades as required, ensuring systems remain secure and up-to-date.

- Keep detailed records of installations, services, and customer interactions.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest security technology and equipment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in installing and maintaining security systems.

- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools.

- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation.

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
