We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that client needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a solid understanding of commercial insurance products and strong communication skills to work with clients, underwriters, and other team members.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in servicing commercial insurance accounts, including processing endorsements, renewals, and policy changes.
-Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
-Review policies, coverage options, and certificates of insurance to ensure accuracy and compliance with client needs.
-Support the Account Manager in preparing proposals, certificates, and marketing materials for new and renewal business.
-Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, addressing coverage issues, claims, and billing inquiries.
-Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and maintained in the CRM system.
-Process certificates of insurance, binders, endorsements, and audits.
-Assist in reviewing and explaining policy terms, coverage limits, and conditions to clients.
-Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products to meet clients' comprehensive needs.
-Keep up-to-date with industry changes and regulatory requirements to provide clients with current and accurate information.
Requirements
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial insurance customer service or account management role.
-Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto).
-Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, team members, and insurance carriers.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with insurance agency management systems or CRMs.
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Active insurance license (preferred) or the willingness to obtain one.
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote or office environment.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience working with multiple carriers and insurance platforms.
-Bilingual skills are a plus.
-Familiarity with underwriting processes and claims management.
-Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
