Keysight Technologies, the world's premier measurement company, has an opening for a Semiconductor Fab Process Development Engineer at the High Frequency Technology Center in Santa Rosa, California. Live in beautiful Sonoma County amongst vineyards, redwood forests, rivers, lakes and coastline while working on state-of-the-art ICs and devices.
Responsibilities:Process Development Engineers at HFTC are responsible for process development and sustaining of custom, cutting edge, micro and nano-fabrication technologies for high performance microwave and millimeter-wave applications. The technologies include InP and GaAs-based HBTs, HEMTs and other electronic components which enable key competitive differentiation of Keysight’s industry-leading RF, microwave and high bit rate instruments.
We are expanding our engineering team in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and new product development. The focus of this position is on manufacturing sustainability and R&D support for semiconductor process engineering. We are seeking a versatile candidate who can contribute to one or more of the following areas: Dryetch, Wet Processing, PECVD, PVD/Metal Deposition, Lithography, CMP, Electroplating, Separation & Sort.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with process, integration, product, and circuit design engineers to define process and device performance targets.
- Define process flows, develop new processes, and drive continuous process improvement (CPI) efforts to maximize product yield.
- Ensure the successful transfer and maintenance of new technologies in manufacturing, meeting performance, reliability, and manufacturing goals.
- Work with the Operations Group to implement robust process control and support production processes; diagnose and resolve process problems.
- Lead capital equipment acquisition projects, including tool evaluation, characterization, process development, and qualification.
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ Years of experience with maintaining or developing semiconductor processes is highly advantageous
- Preferred:
- 4+ years of experience with maintaining or developing semiconductor processes.
- Experience scoping, purchasing, qualifying, or ownership of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments.
- Experience with Python scripting and/or automation of procedures and routines.
- Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter- and intra-group interactions.
Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: MIN $119,610.00 - MAX $ 199,340.00
