Are you experienced in Technology Sales? Have you successfully sold into State, Local, and Education (SLED) or other public (Government) sectors?
Our MN-based Technology client is looking for a Sr. Account Manager based in California or Arizona to provide Business Development support in these growing regions. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of Account Management experience in IT products within the SLED + Government sectors.
As a Senior Account Manager, you would be involved with selling IT hardware and software services to K - 12 school districts/higher education, with a significant amount (50%) of travel required within both states.
Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Engage in outbound calls, build relationships with IT decision-makers, and identify new business opportunities
• Sales Process Management: Use CRM tools for tracking, and follow up on leads from trade shows and campaigns
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and resolve issues promptly
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams and vendors to align solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• Strong communication, sales, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused, proactive approach
• College diploma or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree and public sector experience preferred
• 5+ years of prior Sales experience in IT hardware or solutions required.
Job Details:
• Direct Hire, Remote - Candidates must be based out of CA or AZ
• Full-time, 1st shift, with TRAVEL UP TO 50% in CA and AZ
• Salary base of $70K-$105K, with Potential OTE of $140K-$210K
• Comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays, etc.
