We were recently engaged on a Senior Accountant search for a service client of ours in Metro Detroit.
Responsibilities of Accountant
- Analyze financial data, create reports, and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Manage accounting operations for a client, including general ledger, accounting, and tax filings.
- Oversee AP/AR processes, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, increase efficiencies, and execute special projects.
- Assist in audits, budget development, and forecasts, offering recommendations and subject matter expertise

Requirements of Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
