Senior Accountant - Strategic Employment

A maintenance company in Bethesda Maryland is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a key hire that will assist in all aspects of the accounting life cycle including month-end close, debits and credits, financial reporting, budgeting and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years of experience as an accountant and be willing to commute to Bethesda on a hybrid basis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as an accountant
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (V-lookup, Pivot table, etc.)
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Lawson, NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Dynamics or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field of study

Bonus skills

• Previous experience with AS400 systems or Lawson ERP
• CPA, CMA or progress towards
• Experience working within maintenance or facility services industries
