Dallas, TX –Onsite to start then hybrid
Compensation: $75-85K + Bonus
One of Vaco’s real estate clients is looking to bring on board a Senior Accountant as part of an effort to scale the accounting team to keep up with their rapid growth track. They have been around for 75 years and extremely stable; average tenure is 6-10 years.
Ideal Accountants will have a solid foundation in GL/GAAP accounting well-versed in intermediate to advanced Excel functions.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Monitor cash activity and oversee cash management functions - close, clearings, bank recons
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Reviewing AP work an reports, processing 1099s
- Prepare capital calls and distribution wires
- Reconciling contributions/distributions monthly
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Intermediate MS Excel background.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting theory and application of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
- General ledger and related reconciliation experience.
