A large ecommerce company in LA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, inventory, fixed assets, and have some oversight of junior staff. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Previous supervisory experience (or desire to do so)
- Journal entries, accruals, maintain the general ledger, and reconciliations
- Analyze expenses and revenue
- Prepare supporting schedules
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit
- Prepaid and fixed asset reconciliations
- Assist with creating and modifying internal controls
- Support new process initiatives, improvements, and implementation of new software and policies
- Maintain GAAP compliance

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
