Salary: $100 - 115k Base + Bonus
Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exceptional opportunity to bring your unique skills and expertise to our innovative company.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform and oversee all general ledger functions, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results to the plant, sales, and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements.
4. Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with corporate financial management.
5. Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
6. Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes.
7. Conduct and manage the overall process of financial forecasting and budgets, working closely with the management team.
8. Develop and implement various accounting procedures working with the management team.
9. Participate in the year-end audit, prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor questions and concerns, and act as a liaison between the audit team and company personnel.
10. Perform ERP system and general ledger maintenance.
11. Utilize SAP, JDE, Sage, and other accounting software.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of related experience in Manufacturing or Scientific Industry.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
5. Proficient in ERP, SAP, JDE, Sage, and other financial planning software.
6. Strong experience in both the private and public sector is preferred.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Exceptional attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
12. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
13. Fluency in the English language, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
