Senior Accountant - TRX

We're looking for an experienced and detail-focused Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), a CPA license, and prior experience in public accounting. Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, making sure we follow GAAP.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements.
• Managing external audits
• Support a team of accounting professionals, encouraging teamwork and high performance.
• Work with different teams to help with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Regularly review transactions to identify and resolve any issues quickly.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide needed documentation.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures.
• Set up and maintain effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting rules and make sure we comply with new standards.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with special projects assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation.
• Good understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions.
• Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued.
• Comfortable using accounting software, with experience in NetSuite being a plus.
• Strong people skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance departments.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good at solving problems and analyzing situations.
• Understanding of internal controls and risk management.
• Able to work well in a team.
