In this role, you will be responsible for general accounting functions and analysis of accounts, month end close and account reconciliation activities for multiple company divisions. Immediate opening for a Senior Accountant in Depew NY who possesses:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of Accountant level experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Proficiency with ERP systems & Cognos based reporting
- Public accounting experience is a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Various month end procedures and entries.
- Play a major role in the month-end close, year-end reporting, monthly reporting, and audit procedures
- Direct accounting support for US Service Center branches
- Perform various balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company reconciliations
- Accounting & audit support of warehouse physical inventory counts
- Accurately and timely complete monthly bank and cash reconciliations
- Cross train and serve as back up for other accounting duties
- Review and analyze financial data, preparation of various ad hoc financial reports
- Assist in the annual budget process – compilation, analysis and reporting
- Preparation of year end schedules to support corporate reporting and audit requirements
- Assist with both internal and external audits
