Senior Accountants must have the following:
- 2+ years skilled nursing facility experience.
- Possess great organizational skills.
- Exhibit significant attention to detail and be self-directed with little or no supervision.
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe)
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills, accounting skills and the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and multi-task with attention to detail.
As Senior Accountant, you will:
- Review general ledger accounts and supporting workpapers prepared by outsourced staff accountants.
- Verify accuracy of information and correct any inaccuracy in final review prior to financial statement publication according to GAAP guidelines.
- Assist with the maintenance and proper analysis of balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly and year end reporting.
- Aid in providing required schedules for cost report preparation.
