Senior Accountant - Fort Worth TX - Family Office

Our team is working with a leading family office for a prominent family based in the Fort Worth area looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. Reporting directly to the CFO of the Senior Accountant will be a key member of the Fine Line accounting team. Providing financial analysis of the operating company financials that will help inform the decisions related to treasury and asset allocation. Collaborating with service providers to ensure timely and accurate books are maintained for the family office.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the general ledger accounts of the various operating companies with a goal of communicating what is occurring and using trend analysis over time to explain why.

• Reviewing expense payment requests against an established set of guidelines, and ensuring timely payments are made.

• Aiding in the implementation and maintenance of an integrated accounting system for the family office.

• Prepare a monthly report summarizing the financial results of the family office operations.

• Aiding in the collection and analysis of files for annual tax return preparation.

• Assist in preparing and analyzing quarterly budgets.

• Ad-hoc requests focused on providing data to the family to support the periodic fast- paced dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in real estate or investment management accounting. 

• CPA is preferred
