Senior Accountant - Superior Essex

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will be responsible for inventory-related accounting activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Inventory accounting for Essex Furukawa Magnet Wire
* Coordination of certain accounting activities in the divisional headquarters
* Reporting and variance analysis related to inventory and inventory valuation.
* Provide reports for consignment location physical inventories.

* Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing programs
* Proven history of logical thinking/reasoning.
* Normal work performed in an office environment; occasional travel may be required to offsite locations for inventories, internal reviews and continuing professional education.
* Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Excel and Word
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Accounting/Finance degree required.
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
* Inventory Accounting in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Experience with ERP system is strongly preferred.
* Professional certification (CPA) is preferred.
