A South Bay startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their team
In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for technical accounting around equity, financial reporting, assisting with month-end, and supporting SEC reporting
To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to be organized, a problem-solver, and be detail-oriented

What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
4-6 years of public accounting experience
Active CPA
Advanced Excel
Experience to technical accounting and accounting standards
What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?Equity compensation management
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations around stock pay
Assist with the yearly financial statement audit
Assist with SEC reporting
Assist with SOX testing and internal controls
Management analysis
Support special projects as they come up
What is in this Senior Accountant role for you?Reports to a very experienced mentor who is nice and family-oriented
Exciting time to set up processes and internal controls for a meaningful company
Equity (obviously) and bonus eligible
Hybrid role (2 days in office)
