Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Maintain the general ledger and fixed assets management modules within the JD Edwards accounting system, in addition to indirect maintenance of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules
• Analyze complex financial reports and records
• Review journal entries of accounting team to ensure accuracy
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
• Perform and direct with financial and tax audits

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related major
• 5+ years of experience at the senior level
• Solid MS Excel - Intermediate
• Strong attention to detail and organized
