Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports & present to leadership
- Own the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Provide ownership of bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior members of the accounting team.
- Collaborate with internal departments and cooperate with external auditors during audit processes.
- Remain updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Recognize areas for process enhancement and champion efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Required.
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Seeking career advancement
- Ability to wear multiple hats
