About the Job
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Analyzes financial results and works with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and income.
•Assists in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparing, approving, and posting journal entries, reconciling various accounts to subledgers and external documentation, financial statement preparation and analysis.
•Able to use business intelligence software for various analysis of data.
•Assists in the preparation of financial statements and reporting with foreign parent company.
•Processes commercial customer credit applications to set up customer accounts and assign credit limits.
•Provides supporting documentation for audits and for federal and state tax returns.
•Assists with treasury cash management functions and cash flow planning.
•Prepares financial analyses and special reports for Controller and management.
•Actively seeks and evaluates cost saving opportunities throughout the Company.
•Maintains confidentiality of financial information and plans.
•Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
•CMA or CPA preferred
•Preferred 3 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with a focus on month-end activities, reporting, and analysis.
•Manufacturing experience preferred.
•Previous experience in an ERP implementation desired
•Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel), BI and ERP systems, M3 preferred
•Excellent analytical skills and an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
•Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Core competencies requirements for this position include applicable education, training or certifications, previous experience, and on-the-job training, and are documented in the training plan for the position. Competency is evaluated
beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed. Additional tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Working Conditions:
Flexible hybrid work model with requirement to work on-site at least 3 days/week. Works primarily in office environment.
