About the Job
General Summary of Duties: Responsible for performing the function of A/P, A/R, daily cash reporting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and accurate and timely financial reporting.
Reports To: VP of Finance

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and complete full cycle month-end closing procedures for all entities.
- Prepares and records monthly journal entries.
- Maintains various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains absolute integrity of general ledger.
- Manage, reconcile and code employee Purchase Card statements.
- Match, verify, code and process invoices and expense reports.
- Calculate, create, send, and apply payment for non-medical billing related invoices.
- Assistance with daily cash reporting.
- Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting.
- Assist with external financial audits.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Work with finance team to create and maintain internal controls and policies.
- Participates in continuing education.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or higher in Accounting. Job requires continuing education / development courses for personal growth.
- 4-6 years’ experience with significant accounting responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualities:
- BA/BS or higher in Accounting.
- 4-6 years’ experience with significant accounting responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience in healthcare a plus.
- Experience with Sage Intacct a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
- Highly detailed oriented and organized in work.
- Leadership and business management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work well in a team.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to analyze information and connect the dots for the executive team regarding areas driving financial performance.
- Ability to meet all organizational deadlines.
- Ability to ensure high levels of confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and bring about improvement in the existing business processes.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve discrepancies.
Work Environment: Normal office environment. Occasional evening work.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
