About the Job
Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a large Premier CPA Firm in Little Rock to help them find a Senior Associate for their Advisory Services Team. This is a newly created position due to the growth of the organization and the additional clients that have been added in the last year. The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services across multiple areas and industries, including fractional CFO work, transaction advisory services, valuation, and some litigation support. Position will report directly to a Partner of this Division.
Duties would include:
Fractional CFO Services:
- Provide strategic financial leadership to clients on a part-time or project basis
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Offer guidance on cash flow management and capital allocation
Transaction Advisory Services:
- Lead due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses
- Identify key business risks and opportunities in potential transactions
- Prepare and present comprehensive transaction reports to clients
Forensic Valuation and Litigation Support:
- Conduct complex financial investigations and fraud examinations
- Perform business valuations for various purposes (e.g., disputes, mergers, estate planning)
- Provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses for use in litigation
General Management Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor junior staff members
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing
- Ensure project profitability and timely delivery of services
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
- CPA highly preferred; additional certifications (e.g., CFE, ABV, CFA) highly desirable
- 3-7 years of experience in public accounting or advisory services
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
