Senior Accountant at Creative Financial Staffing

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a unique food business seeking a Senior Accountant as an added member of the team due to growth.

About the Company Seeking a Senior Accountant:

• Founded nearly 20 years ago with locations in Natick, MA and Minnesota
• Supporting farm-to-table logistics, this group has diversified business
• In this team, the Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller with a CFO above and an Accounting Assistant adjacent within the structure
• Hybrid work schedule on the beautiful acreage in Natick

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Owning the month-end close, the Senior Accountant will be handling:
  • Inventory controls/COGs
  • Cash reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
• Organizing year-end close and audit workpapers
• Because of the variation of the business, the Senior Accountant's day-to-day will vary greatly

Background Expected of the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or experience equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in an Accounting role, including 2+ years handling full-cycle accounting
• Sage and QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required
• Restaurant/hospitality industry experience is preferred
