About the Job
The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic, fast-paced team, reporting directly to the Associate Controller. You will oversee key accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliations, and month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting as the company scales. The role involves collaborating across departments to address complex accounting issues and drive process improvements. You will also design solutions to enhance the efficiency and scalability of financial operations, supporting the company's growth. - Attention to Detail: Ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial records, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to conduct flux analysis and provide meaningful insights into financial variances to support decision-making.

- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of GAAP, payroll compliance, and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effectively partners with cross-functional teams and vendors, facilitating timely payments, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Technical Accounting Skills: Proficient in managing fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, and ensuring accurate general ledger entries.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Capable of handling ad hoc projects and addressing complex accounting matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting operations, and proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, and ADP Workforce Now.

One Team, One Dream: What We Need To Work Together:
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus
- Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify & ADP Workforce Now a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP and accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills and Google Workspace
- Experience in a fast-growing start-up environment a plus
