Senior Accountant Opportunity

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (In-Office)
Compensation: Up to $100,000 annually

Job Summary

We're on the hunt for an experienced Senior Accountant to bring their expertise in accounting practices to our dynamic Metro Atlanta office. If you're detail-oriented with strong experience in General Ledger (GL) maintenance, Month-End Close (MEC) processes, and 401k administration, we want to hear from you! This role will require you to work in-office, collaborating closely with our finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• GL Management: Handle general ledger accounts on-site, ensuring all records are accurate and GAAP-compliant
• Month-End Close (MEC): Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statements
• Financial Reporting: Prepare in-depth financial reports and statements for leadership
• 401k Administration: Oversee contributions, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance for our 401k plans
• Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate with auditors and ensure documentation meets all regulatory standards
• Process Improvements: Identify and implement efficiency-boosting initiatives within our accounting procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics (required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP, GL, MEC, and 401k administration
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, in-office team spirit
