Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• The Senior Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions
• The Senior Accountant will assist with budget variances
• The Senior Accountant will assist with review and analyze the general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare monthly pay apps/billing
• Identify areas of process improvement
• Support internal and external audits

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 years of public accounting or 6 years of GL accounting experience
• CPA (+)
• Job costing/Construction accounting preferred
