Are you an experienced financial professional with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and take your career to the next level? We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced accounting and finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial practices.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general and entity accounting.
3. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
4. Collaborate with financial staff to ensure the smooth operation of all finance matters.
5. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
6. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
7. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
8. Manage the processing of leases and loans, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, as well as a comprehensive understanding of leases and loans.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
4. Proven experience with leases and loans is essential.
5. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
6. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
