Pinpoint Talent has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant.
As our client’s Senior Accountant, you will manage financial reporting and accounting processes for a diverse portfolio of real estate properties, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and coordinating with auditors. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
~ Top Requirements of the Senior Accountant ~
- 3-5 years of property accounting experience (commercial or residential)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with auditing processes, particularly with KPMG
- Proficiency in Yardi software is highly preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
~ What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant ~
- Oversee accounting processes for real estate properties
- Manage financial reporting for lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Perform US GAAP adjustments, accruals, and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Handle vendor management and accurate expense coding
- Prepare and review financial statements for stakeholders
- Assist in transitioning financial operations from offshore to onshore and from Excel to Yardi
