Client Overview:
Our client is a well establish and growing organization that works directly in the government development space that is looking to add a Senior Accountant
This organization is looking for someone professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in general accounting with government grants and loans experience as a big plus.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30 – $35/hr
Position Overview:
Senior Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills
Looking for a Senior Accountant with previous experience in full cycle accounts payable and general accounting.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
Donation and grants experience
Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors
Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
Non-Profit/Government general accounting experience
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with independent work
Experience with ERP software is a plus
Strong Excel skills
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred
