We are seeking candidates for a Senior Accountant position to join a leading financial services firm located in Portland, OR. This position involves managing financial records, overseeing bookkeeping tasks, handling journal entries, and supporting various finance-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in accounting software, have a solid understanding of finance principles, and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping.
This is a 6-month contract that will pay $40-50/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 2 days/week in their Portland office.

- Oversee daily bookkeeping functions, including recording transactions and journal entries.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain and update financial data.
- Support finance-related tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate effectively with the finance team to meet organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services industry.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, and journal entries.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with Accounting Software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
