Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial planning.
• Coordinate and assist with audits and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling.
