SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Assists finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization, financial reporting and assisting CFO with management reporting and planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Job Requirements)

Financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, preparing long range financial forecasts, financial planning & analysis and strong knowledge of excel
Calculation and recording of monthly depreciation, pre-paids and accruals
Assist in reconcile all balance sheet accounts
Provide explanation for large fluctuations in revenue or expense accounts between current month and previous month along with assistance from Assistant Controller
Assist Month-end close in accounting system
Assist Generate monthly financial statements
Assist Generate monthly statements of indirect expenses
Assist CFO/Assistant Controller in preparation of documents and back-up for financial statement audit
Assist & prepare journal entries to record items in general ledger as needed
Assist import timesheets from T&E into GCSP
Make adjustments to T&E and GCSP as necessary to correct errors and warnings
Assist in Monthly financial reporting, updating company financial model, process payroll, maitining of Deltek gcs system, maintaining Deltek t&e system, assisting cfo in various detailed reports, issuing monthly board reporting package, issuing bank quarterly financial package

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Accounting 0-1 year minimum experience required.
Understanding of US GAAP and application of knowledge.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CPA or CPA in progress preferred
Experience with Deltek GCS and Time and Expense knowledge, GCS Premier.
