Senior Accountant - Creative Financial Staffing

Senior Accountant job description should contain the following duties and responsibilities:

• Manage general accounting tasks including but not limited to closing procedure, general ledger analysis and month-end closing adjustments.
• Manage and analyze budget and report variance again actual results.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with management.
• Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information such as Capital purchases and work in progress.
• Calculate taxes such as Sales and Use Tax (Suri) and prepare corresponding tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and write profit and loss statements.
• Create and present detailed reports for upper management.
• Audit financial transactions
• Make sure that confidential information is secure.
• Keep abreast with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies.

Senior Accountant job description should contain the following requirements and qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
• BA in Accounting or similar relevant field
• Hands on experience with accounting software
