About the Job
Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: San Ramon
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules.
- Support external audit processes and serve as a primary point of contact during audits.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff members.
- NetSuite or orther ERP preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
