Senior Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Pay Rate: Open DOE up to $100K
Schedule: M - F, 8 - 5 - 100% onsite
Type: open to temp to hire or DH
Experience: Mid Level - 4-7 years

- Reporting to Controller, with a staff of 5
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and credit card payable accounts.
-Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting using Peachtree
-Manage and maintain the general ledger (GL), ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
-Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
-Reconcile bank statements to verify transaction accuracy.
-Conduct data mining for financial reports and analysis.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience
- Skilled in accounting, fix assets, month end close process, journal entries, GL account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accruals and financial statement - required
- Highly proficient with Excel Spreadsheets
- Good work stability
-Bilingual Spanish is a plus
