About the Job
Manage the operational, staff and financial activities related to the general ledger function of the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the general ledger
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Coordinate interim and year-end financial audit activities
- Coordinate and prepare 990 tax returns
- Manage staff accountants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Three years general ledger experience
- Knowledge of the theory and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
