Responsibilities:
1. Support and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.
2. Prepare and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement.
4. Prepare and record accruals and other adjusting entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
5. Strong systems focus - experience with ERP Implementation would be a big bonus!
6. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
7. Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring all requested documentation and information is provided in a timely manner.
8. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing financial expertise and insight.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a demonstrated track record of success in managing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, performing financial analysis, and managing accruals.
3. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
