Senior Accounting Consultant at KBW Financial

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a company in Portsmouth, NH in their search to hire a Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This position will primarily be responsible for overseeing and processing treasury functions (AP and AR) and manage general ledger activities, creating and posting pre-paids, accruals and adjusting journal entries for month end close.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

Responsibility for the general ledger entries
Reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet accounts.
Assist with internal and external financial reporting.
Review and analyze monthly income statement and balance sheet for multiple locations.
Maintain fixed assets ledger and associated depreciation schedules.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Assist with audits and reviews.
Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant position:

-3+ years of relevant experience 
-Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance 
-Mid to Large revenue size company experience 
-Experience using mid tier or larger accounting ERP systems 
-Intermediate Excel experience is required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
-Ability to work in office 

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 + competitive benefits
