Senior Manager/Director of Accounting
Dallas, TX - onsite to start
One of Vaco's PE backed distribution clients is looking to onboard a Director of Accounting as part of an overall effort to “upgrade” their finance and accounting teams as the company continues to grow

Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
CPA required
Public accounting experience highly preferred
Large PE backed environments preferred

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
