Responsibilities:Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Experience providing support to government leadership in the Senior Executive Service (SES).
- Experience coordinating travel and using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Expert level knowledge communication skills for the formulation of all DoD correspondence mediums, (e.g, email and memos).
- Demonstrated experience supporting in an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Joint Staff/Interagency environment.
- Knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Energetic and the capability to work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and multi-task capabilities.
Required:
- At least seven to ten years with progressive responsibility in organizing reports, etc. providing assistance in tracking task order deliverables and organizing meetings; and taking notes of minutes; and providing administrative assistance to all members of a technical team as required.
- Must have good rapport at dealing with the public. Demonstrated experience must include at least two years creating, compiling, and editing computer-generated documentation including technical text and graphics.
- Strong spelling and grammar skills, and ability to put documents in proper format is required.
- Proficency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- At least 3 years DOD experience required.
Education:
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- BA/BS desired
Security Clearance
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI). Subject to Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
