We are hiring for a Senior Administrative Assistant in Marshall, MN. In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to several company Vice Presidents (VP) within the Research & Development department, as well as supporting the overall department as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Performs administrative work in support of multiple VPs (in Marshall and other locations) and staff, including the handling of sensitive details and assignments.
+ Coordinates the VPs’ calendars, expenses, meetings, travel, etc. Schedules meetings and manages calendars without prior clearance within prescribed limits.
+ Coordinates schedules, meetings and travel for other department members as needed or requested.
+ Manages incoming requests/messages/mail, as well as anticipates, prepares, and sends correspondence for the VPs, all with a moderate degree of discretion.
+ Organizes, prepares, and summarizes data, materials or presentations for VPs and department as needed.
+ Maintains office supplies for the building’s members, including placing orders for office and kitchen/lab supplies in the SRM system as requested by department members.
+ Provides on-site logistical support to visitors at the Marshall R&D Center to facilitate productive visits and ensure a welcoming environment.
+ Facilitates a positive culture throughout the Marshall R&D Center and its employees by assisting in the coordination of small to large sized engagement activities and events.
+ Coordinates building maintenance needs/requests with the Corporate Maintenance Team.
+ Responsible for conducting oneself with a high degree of ethics and confidentiality as is consistent with the company mission, values, code of ethics, and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Preferably 5+ administrative support experience in a business environment
+ Solid PC skills, including expertise with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
+ Broad understanding and knowledge of business unit structure, policies, products, etc.
+ Solid interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality.
+ Ability to gather, organize and analyze data. Strong sense of priority, logic and objectivity.
