Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) who will report to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A. The role provides end-to-end FP&A support in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analytics to all levels of the business partners, stakeholders, and key decision makers of G&A Functions. FP&A team works closely with the CFO and the Executive Leadership Team to develop operating plans and multi-year strategic planning scenarios. As part of the broader finance team at Recor Medical, this role will work closely with the Accounting team to assist in various tasks during the month end close.
Responsibilities and duties- Responsible for supporting the monthly financial close for the following cost centers: Finance, HR, IT, Facility, Legal, Marketing, Market Access. Explanations and commentary for variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports - analyzing operating and financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to department owners.
- Lead quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for responsible cost centers and projects in close alignment with functional leaders.
- Manage and measure effectiveness of the cost center & project spending, focusing on overall business and support to the functional leaders. Present the findings on a regular basis.
- Support resolving operational issues for the responsible cost centers.
- Drive forward automation and digitalization efforts in area of responsibility, e.g. Automation of Reports and Process Improvements.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 – 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail to identify variances, trends, and anomalies in financial data that will trigger proactive necessary actions.
- Enhanced troubleshooting ability, including performing root cause analysis.
- Ability to provide accurate and reliable data under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to drive insights from large datasets and transform them into compelling presentations to get buy-in from senior management.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles.
- Passionate team player with a strong service mentality going the extra mile to meet the expectations of stakeholders.
- Execution-driven and focused mindset to continuously strive for improvements.
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel is required.
- Knowledge in QAD, NetSuite, and Planful is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, communication, and presentation skills.
