Senior AP Specialist - KBW Financial

A booming real estate firm in Waltham has an opening for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the AP Manager & have the primary responsibility of matching, batching and coding invoices, assisting with year-end prep and handling other ad hoc accounts payable duties! 

This is a contract to hire opening that pays up to $40/hr for qualifying candidates. 
The role requires someone to be local to be the area and will be in the office on a hybrid basis.

Job Description:
- Match, batch and code invoices
- Assist with year-end prep (1099 filings and year end audits)
- Maintain vendor correspondence 
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Keep track of all expenses and perform weekly check runs 
- Assist the AP Manager with the month end close
- Work cooperatively and actively with accounting team and others in the company to drive continuous process improvement in own job and in the function

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

- Yardi experience required
- 5+ years of corporate accounting experience required
- Strong excel skills
