SENIOR ARCHITECT

Overview:

We are seeking our next skilled Senior Architect. This Senior Architect will assume a senior-level position, overseeing architecture projects, guiding design and specification initiatives, and overseeing projects from the design phase to construction completion. In addition to serving as a client manager and cultivating relationships, the senior project architect actively contributes to business development by seeking opportunities for new projects.

SENIOR ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guide diverse design phases, spanning schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, negotiation, and construction administration.
• Lead design teams across multiple projects.
• Drive business development initiatives to advance projects and cross-sell in a dynamic market.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships on social, technical, and contractual fronts.
• Make independent architectural decisions and select methodologies.
• Cultivate skills to mitigate risks, improve efficiencies, and cut costs.
• Assess and authorize supervised work; ensure precision in contract documents.
• Participate in internal quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Supervise and validate the accuracy of contract documents.
• Provide leadership to teams executing tasks to achieve milestones.
• Contribute to formulating design proposals and contracts for project financial success.
• Oversee project financial and time performance metrics.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture with a minimum of 10 years of successful post-graduate design and consulting experience. Lesser experience may be considered for the right candidate.
• Strong technical skills and production experience in Revit (required); AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Proficient in assembling and editing full project manuals.
• Experienced in managing multiple projects of various types and scales simultaneously, delivering successful projects on schedule.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and team resources to maintain reasonable workloads throughout projects.
• Eager to learn financial metrics for successful project completion and performance.
• Committed to ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget, actively collaborating with team members to facilitate progress.
• Proven success in team collaboration, exceptional listening, and communication skills.
• Possess or keen to develop strong conceptual design and communication skills, with fluency in SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
• Demonstrated high competence, capabilities, and architectural experience resulting from progressive responsibilities.
• You possess a robust understanding of building codes, zoning ordinances, and standards.

• Salary range for this position is $84,000k-$120,000k depending on experience.
• Position may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
