Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Actuary to join our clients Actuarial department, which plays a key role in solving complex business challenges and supporting company growth. You will collaborate with a diverse team across Personal Lines Pricing, Commercial Lines Pricing, Reserving, and Predictive Analytics to contribute to our company’s success in the insurance market.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate Actuary, you will:

- Conduct pricing studies to evaluate the profitability of Auto and Homeowners insurance products and present results to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Analyze rating variables and provide recommendations for pricing adjustments.
- Perform competitor analysis to stay informed on pricing trends and product developments.
- Collaborate with the Predictive Analytics team on data modeling projects.
- Partner with Marketing to enhance the return on advertising expenditures.
- Analyze usage-based insurance (UBI) data and recommend pricing changes.
- Conduct trend analysis to understand shifts in the frequency and severity of insurance claims.
- Assess the impact of crash-avoidance technology on Auto insurance claims.

This hybrid role offers a combination of in-office work and telecommuting options each week.

Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) actuarial work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) or FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society) credential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
