Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to clients on all aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, power of attorney, and advanced directives.
- Develop and implement effective estate plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Assist clients in the administration of trusts and estates.
- Manage and mitigate potential legal risks associated with estate planning and wealth management.
- Prepare and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Represent clients in probate and trust litigation.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in estate planning, trust, and wealth management law.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 8 years of legal experience in estate planning, trusts, and wealth management.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience with gift tax laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues.
